Phoenix Contact holds TRABTECH Seminar on November 8, 2005
Phoenix Contact, a leader in the development and manufacture of TRansient ABsorbtion TECHnology (TRABTECH) hosted a seminar to increase the participants' knowledge of the subject of Transient Surge Voltage Technology.

Brian Fleming of Phoenix Contact Canada, along with Holger Heckler and Horst Fitzner from Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, shared their experiences with engineers, technologists and technicians from the electrical and instrumentation industry. The topics of the seminar included the types, causes and impact of over-voltages, technologies existing to combat power surges, evaluating the performance of a Transient Surge Suppression (TVSS) device and applying the Zone Approach for Surge Voltage protection.
