NEWS - STEP Power rated for -40°C and CLASS 1 Zone 2
The STEP power supply family has been extensively tested for operation temperatures greater than -40°C. The devices start reliably at -40°C but may not comply with all specified data during initial operation. Specifically ripple and noise values can be significantly exceeded during the start-up phase. Normal operation of the power supplies will fulfill the specifications due to self-heating after a short period of operation, typically 1 minute. With cUL Class1 Zone 2 listed approvals, the STEP POWER product line is used in a wide range of industrial applications.
