8-port switch for industrial application

The Ethernet switch FL SWITCH 8 TX allows the network to be expanded fast and inexpensively. Compared to other solutions, it has been possible to halve the price per port, thus making the switch ideal for distributed network solutions. Additional network segments or terminal equipment can be connected to the eight twisted pair ports. 10 Mbit/s or 100 Mbit/s: the switch supports both transmission rates even in hybrid mode. This makes it possible to couple network segments or other devices with either the same or different transmission rates without difficulty and guaranteed without the risk of data collision. In addition, each port has an autocrossing function: It is no longer necessary to differentiate between 1:1 or crossover Ethernet lines.

The switch regenerates the data telegrams received and sends them only to that port to which the device with the corresponding target address is connected. This intelligent technology markedly reduces the volume of data as compared to hub technology, and the bandwith available id considerably increased. With the FL SWITCH 8 TX we now have a compact, industrial 8-port switch on the market. Just 45 mm constructional width and simple configuration-free mounting make the switch the ideal Ethernet connection for your control cabinet.
