We offer a wide range of Ex i isolating amplifiers so that you can connect your field signals to automated process systems in an intrinsically safe (Ex i), simple and flexible manner.
The process INTERFACE PI offers modular basic terminal blocks with an option of surge protection. They are used to save space in plug-in and codable electronic modules.
The “Ex-i” intrinsic safety protection type is established worldwide. In the case of this protection type, the power transmission is so low that switching operations do not cause ignition even in an explosive atmosphere.
With the process interface PI for Ex i isolating amplifiers, you can easily install assemblies with built-in surge protection directly on the DIN rail.
You can choose from two Ex-series
The classic range with a wide choice of one or two-channel Ex i isolators in DIN rail housings.
PROCESS INTERFACE PI
The pluggable isolator module has a width of 12.4 mm, and the rail-mountable base element is optionally available with or without surge protection.
Alternatively, the isolator module can be plugged into a motherboard.
