Phoenix Contact recognised as one of 2009's Best Workplaces in Canada
Mississauga, Ontario. (April 6, 2009) — Phoenix Contact is delighted to be recognised as one of this year’s Best Workplaces in Canada. This list, and related stories, appeared in a special national report on Monday April 6th, 2009 in The Globe and Mail.

According to the Great Place to Work® Institute Canada (GPTW), our country’s list of top employers should be chosen by the people who matter most – their employees. The greatest weight in determining the ranking of Canada’s Great Place to Work, is the voluntary and anonymous employee survey used to measure trust between employees, management and their jobs.
“Clearly, we are doing some things right, the staff must feel proud as this is their accomplishment and it is a significant milestone in our development as an enterprise” stated Kevin McKenna, General Manager of Phoenix Contact Canada.
This year’s list received over 230 nominations and approximately 30,000 employees participated in the 2009 “Best Workplaces in Canada” survey.
