Twenty-Five years in Canada!
PHOENIX CONTACT Ltd. is celebrating 25 years in Canada. Established in Mississauga, in 1983, with 4 employees, Phoenix Contact in Canada has now grown to over 50 employees and will be looking to the future by moving into a new location by early 2009. There the Canadian market will continue to be supported with local technical and commercial service, sales, logistics and marketing. The company also boasts a premium, national sales network comprised of distributors, manufacturers representatives, system integrators and direct sales personnel.
Originally, Phoenix Contact Canada focused its sales and marketing efforts on standard connection system terminal blocks: DIN Rail mountable and Printed Circuit Board. Although these products remain the corporation’s “Bread and Butter” products, the product focus for the past ten years has grown to include electronic interface technology and industrial automation technology for the Canadian market.
Founded in 1923, Phoenix Contact is a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of specialised electronic components and connection systems. World headquarters are located in Blomberg, Germany. Global sales of EUR 1,072 million are handled by a network of 43 proprietary companies and 30 representations.
